The story of Hollywood Park

Warner Bros. Park in Madrid, located in the tiny town of San Martín de la Vega, about 25 km south of Madrid, is a fascinating and beloved amusement park, which invites hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic visitors every year.

In collaboration with the Six Flags organization, which has countless theme parks around the world, the Warner Bros. group, a Hollywood production company responsible, among other things, for the most iconic films such as Wonder Woman, Batman or Looney Tunes, embarked together on an ambitious project. The result of the project was a spacious amusement park that lovingly and proudly presents the Spanish charm alongside the Hollywood charm. 

The park opened its doors in 2002 and it covers 150 dunams. The park is divided into five main theme areas - Hollywood Boulevard, Cartoon Village, Old West Territory, DC Super Heroes World and Warner Bros. Movie World Studios.

Within the colorful themed areas you will find countless amusement facilities from the most advanced and beloved in Europe, including five roller coasters, two water coasters and countless other attractions. One of the unique elements of the park is the colorful setting that will take you to meet animated characters from Warner Brothers. In a short tour of the park you can meet human-sized figures of Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, Tweety, Batman, Superman and many others. 

What not to miss in the crazy theme park

Stunt Fall (Hollywood Boulevard): An intense and stormy train that will take you on a journey through twists and turns at a speed of up to 115 km/h. 

Superman: The Attraction of Steel (world of superheroes): A whirlwind roller coaster that gives its riders the feeling of flying in the sky, just like Superman. The ride includes countless loops and twists, dramatic turns and 'falls' at high speeds. 

Batman: The Escape (world of superheroes): An inverted roller coaster that takes riders through Gotham City, featuring sharp twists, loops and high-speed turns, making it one of the park's most popular attractions.

Coaster Express (Old West): The longest wooden roller coaster in Europe, an ancient-modern facility that offers a classic riding experience with a variety of twists, turns and surprises.

Tom and Jerry Mouse Train - Tom & Jerry's Mouse Coaster (Cartoon Village): A perfect facility for young visitors or those looking for milder thrills, this fun roller coaster takes visitors on a wild chase after Jerry the mouse, just like in the beloved Tom and Jerry series.

Rapid River Ride (Old West): A facility that combines refreshing water with a fast ride that takes you down a raging river, with sudden falls, waterfalls and currents that guarantee you'll end up wet, but smiling. 

Yogui Bear's Adventure (Cartoon Village): A calm and family-friendly cruise that takes you to a colorful Derek Park with Yogi the bear and his friends.

Scooby-Doo's Great Adventure (Cartoon Village): A dark and scary ride where you, the visitors, join the beloved Scooby-Doo and his gang on a journey through solving a mystery inside a haunted mansion. An innovative facility that includes visual and sound effects that will not leave you indifferent.

The Haunted Hotel (Warner Bros. Studios): A unique attraction centered on a haunted house that will take you on a scary journey full of effects with live characters that make the experience fun and exciting, for the brave who dare to enter it.

What else do you do at the amusement park?

Go meet your favorite characters- From the beloved Looney Tunes in Cartoon Village to the superheroes in Heroes Zone, Warner Park offers a chance to meet (and take pictures with) your favorite characters. Just walk around the park and look for the statues of the revered figures.

Watch a live performance- Throughout the months of the year and especially in the touristy summer months, the amusement park turns into a live stage with performances, plays and stunt shows. Souvenirs from an unforgettable day-Don't forget to stop at one of the many shops scattered around the park. These stores offer a wide variety of souvenirs - from branded clothes to toys, fridge magnets and a variety of other options.

Combine the visit with the Warner Beach water park (Parque Warner Beach)

Within the area of ​​the amusement park is the Warner Beach Water Park, a unique water park that brings the beach atmosphere to the heart of Spain. The park offers a refreshing retreat during the hot summer months as it includes two large pools - a wave pool and a calm lagoon, alongside water slides and windy facilities. Among the attractions in the park you can find tube slides, 'mountain slides' and plenty of other facilities. The park is decorated with palm trees and sand areas that will make you feel like you are on the beach on the Spanish Riviera, just a touch away from the capital city of Madrid. 

You can buy a separate ticket for the water park, or a combined ticket that allows entry to both parks - the amusement park and the water park.

Everything you need to know

Location and directions: The amusement park Warner Brothers Madrid (Parque Warner Madrid) is located in the town of San Martín de la Vega, about 25 kilometers southeast of the city of Madrid, the lively capital of Spain.

For those arriving by car, the trip from the center of Madrid to the theme park will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. In the park you will find plenty of parking at a nominal cost.

The park can also be reached by public transport, when from the center of Madrid you can take train line C3 to the Pinto stop, and from there take bus number 412 or 413 which will bring you directly to the park.

You can also buy a ticket to the park that also includes transportation from the center of Madrid.

Activity time: The park is open most of the year, with activity times and opening hours changing from season to season. In the summer months, the park operates from the early morning hours and sometimes until 00:00, while in the winter months the park operates until the afternoon hours. For updated opening times, it is recommended to check the park's website. 

Tickets: A one-day ticket to the amusement park will cost 37 euros for an adult and 35 euros for a child under 12. A two-day ticket will cost 43 euros for an adult and 40 euros for a child under 12. A ticket with a round trip from Madrid city center will cost from 65 euros per person .

Don't forget to pack sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, a hat and a water bottle. If you plan to combine the visit with a visit to the water park, equip yourself with everything you need - a hat, bathing suit, towel, flip-flops and a change of clothes.
