See more than 1,000 objects related to chocolate at the Chocolate Museum in Paris (Le Musee Gourmand du Chocolat), and understand and learn about everything related to the cocoa bean.

The tour includes live demonstrations of chocolate making and more importantly - tasting.
Many children's activities to keep the little ones happy, including a treasure hunt in the museum.

The 2,789 square feet (850 square meters) of museum exhibits and demonstrations can be explored and tell the 4,000-year history of the cocoa bean in all its forms, from the Olmecs, Mayans and Aztecs.

Learn about the important role cocoa played in ancient cultures, including how cocoa was used in mystical rituals.

Fast forward to the 1500s, when the Aztec emperor Montezuma introduced cacao to Europe. Christopher Columbus was the first European to taste the chocolate drink, but he didn't like it and therefore paid little attention to chocolate. Fortunately, he was not the last European to try it.

See the transformation of the chocolate trade as the chocolate manufacturing process became more efficient during the modern era.
