With our American friends, baseball has long been considered the ultimate family pastime, and in almost every American city you can find a local baseball team and a green field that attracts many spectators who come to watch their home team give their best. Baseball games have become synonymous with camaraderie and excitement, when thousands of spectators put aside the headaches of the daily routine for three hours, and come to enjoy quality sport in a formative experience.

Those who are traveling in the Pacific Northwest region, and want to enjoy an unforgettable sports experience, are invited to stay with us and discover the magic of watching an iconic baseball game of the Seattle Mariners team:

The iconic T-Mobile Park stadium:

In the SoDo neighborhood of beautiful Seattle, you will find the T-Mobile Stadium, a stadium whose story is full of political intrigue, passionate fans and above all full of charm and sportsmanship that created one of the most impressive stadiums in the World Baseball League.

The search for a new stadium for the Seattle Mariners team began in the early 90s, when the team's previous home, the multi-purpose Kingdome Stadium, became outdated and did not provide the modern and advanced services offered by the various rival stadiums in the USA.

After the team's future was in jeopardy because there was nowhere to finance the construction of such a state-of-the-art stadium, the team's success in 1995 reignited widespread support for it and prompted the Washington State Legislature to approve a stadium financing package.

The stadium officially opened its doors in 1999, with the opening game of the home team against the San Diego Padres. The stadium, which holds almost 50,000 seats, has become popular due to its classic design and comfortable seats that offer a wonderful view of the field. The innovative stadium also included a number of innovations that were considered very advanced in those years, such as a unique convertible roof that can handle Seattle's heavy rains.

Even today, the T-Mobile Park stadium continues to be one of the leading baseball stadiums in the country, offering its fans wonderful baseball games alongside breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline, while connecting to the rich history and culture of the city.

Seattle Mariners:

The Seattle Mariners baseball team, based in Seattle, Washington, plays in the MLB, the top baseball league in the United States and Canada.

The group was formed in 1977, and its beginnings were not smooth at all. In their early years, the Mariners' players struggled on the pitches, and did not enjoy successful seasons until 1991. It was only in 1995, 18 years after its establishment, that the team managed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time. That season, 95, probably marked the team's turning point, with the slogan that was assimilated by the team's players and its fans "refuse to lose", which caused the team to overcome a significant deficit towards the end of the season and qualify for the coveted playoffs.

During its years of existence, the Mariners team was home to many notable players, the most prominent of which is probably Ken Griffey Jr., one of the greatest players in baseball history, who started his career with the Mariners and spent a significant part of his successful career with the team. Also the legendary player Edgar Martinez, a former Marine soldier with extraordinary physical fitness, spent his prime years in the popular team, as did the Japanese player Ichiro Suzuki, who became a world star and accumulated over 3000 hits in his major league career, League The MLB.

An exceptional season for the team was the 2001 season, in which the team won 116 games in the major league, thanks to its legendary players such as Ichiro Suzuki, Brett Boone and Edgar Martinez.

Since the 2000s, the team has faced several challenges in replicating its previous successes, with prolonged playoff droughts and the need to rebuild the team. Despite the many challenges, and perhaps thanks to them, the group remains an integral part of the Seattle community, and its train continues to travel towards new successes and goals.
