Here, you can find eagle rays and freshwater trigons in a huge open water tank. In addition, you can find fossils of marine creatures on this floor that will enrich your knowledge of the living conditions of marine creatures in extreme weather conditions. 

Penguin Encounter: You must not miss the penguin colony, where you can find the Humboldt penguin variety of the beloved animal. In the penguin aquarium you can learn about the behavior of the magical animal, their eating habits and the threats they face in nature. 

Explore (Explora Zone): The exploration area is designed to enrich the knowledge of aquarium visitors in the many topics explored in the museum, through interactive activities and exhibitions. Location: The Aquarium of Barcelona is located in the famous port of Port Vell, adjacent to the bustling Gothic quarter of the city. 

The convenient way to get to the aquarium is by metro, line L3 (green) to the Drassanes station or line L4 (yellow) to the Barceloneta station. Both stations are a 10-15 minute walk from the aquarium.

You can also get there by bus, including lines 14, 59, 64, 120, D20, which arrive near the aquarium.

You can of course reach the aquarium on foot from the city's main attractions.
